Privacy Policy

DrawKarts is a game where kids draw a car or character on paper, photograph the drawing, and it becomes a driveable 3D toy car. This policy explains what we collect and why. It is written to be simple because our audience includes children (roughly ages 5–12), whose accounts are held by a parent or guardian.

Who is responsible

The service is operated by the DrawKarts team. For any privacy question or request, contact privacy@drawkarts.com.

What we collect

Google account (parent/guardian). When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. These are kept private and are never shown on public pages.

Nickname. The child chooses a public nickname. This is the only identity shown publicly — never a real name, email, or Google photo.

Drawings you upload. Photos of hand-made paper drawings are processed by AI to generate a 3D car, its stats, and sounds. Before anything else, a safety check rejects photos that are not drawings, and any photo containing a real person, face, or screen.

Basic usage data. We keep the minimum needed to run the game (which cars you created, likes, generation counts).

What we do NOT do

No advertising, no ad networks, and no selling of personal data. No chat, comments, or direct messages. We do not display any personal information publicly beyond the chosen nickname.

Service providers

We use trusted providers only to run the game: Google (sign-in), fal.ai (turning a drawing into a 3D model), Anthropic (the safety check on photos), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and Upstash (leaderboard cache). Uploaded photos are processed by these providers solely to create your car.

Children's privacy

Accounts are intended to be created and managed by a parent or guardian. We collect the minimum data necessary, show only nicknames publicly, and provide no open communication features. Purchases (if introduced later) will be parent-gated.

Deleting your data

You can delete a creation at any time, and deleting your account removes your photos, creations, and derived assets. Email privacy@drawkarts.com to request account deletion.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
